Ordering on Chol HaMoed — When It Will Arrive After the Festival
Question
Is it permitted on Chol HaMoed to order a product from a non-Jewish website abroad, when it is known that the shipment will arrive only after the holiday?
Answer
Shalom u’verachah
It is forbidden. Even commerce that does not require labor is forbidden on Chol HaMoed if it is not for the needs of the Moed.
