Laundering for Children on Chol HaMoed

Is it permitted to launder children’s clothing on Chol HaMoed?

Shalom u’verachah
Children who, at their age, still regularly soil their clothing [approximately until age 8–9] may have their clothes laundered.
It is permitted to wash even a large quantity in a washing machine, if there is a reasonable likelihood that these clothes will be needed for Chol HaMoed. [Even if they have other clothes, but those are less nice].
