Family Celebration on Shabbat
Question
My extended family wants to attend my grandparents' wedding celebration being held at a large villa, and Shabbat falls on Rosh Chodesh Av.
The family wants to arrive on Thursday in order to be able to be at the pool.
Is there a problem with this?

There is no prohibition in this.
However, it is advisable to choose another Shabbat.
