Applying Ointment on Shabbat
Question
Is it permissible to apply antibiotic ointment for a woman after childbirth, in a place where it is not possible to just place it, on Shabbat and holidays?

It is permissible to apply the ointment in a manner that does not smooth and spread the ointment over the surface of the body.
