A Cake in the Shape of a Number

Question

We prepared puff pastry (a baked item) in the shape of numbers, for example 2 and 7. Is it permitted to cut it on Shabbat, and is it proper to be stringent?

Answer

Shalom u’vrachah 

If the entire cake is in a particular shape, such as a number, picture, and the like, it may be cut on Shabbat.
