Cake with black specks

Question

I made a cake, and when I took it out of the oven it was full of black specks on top, which I had not seen earlier in the batter. I checked all the ingredients again, and they all look normal, with no trace of black specks or any sign of infestation. I understand that it was probably something that came from the oven. Is there a need to be concerned that these are insects or something else that poses a kashrut problem, or may the cake be eaten?

Answer

Shalom u’verachah

There is no concern whatsoever.
