The Mishnah Berurah, siman 317, cites a dispute between the Levush and the Taz (se'if katan 5) regarding a knot that the craftsman tied for the duration of his work, whether it is considered a knot that is not permanent.
Whose view do we follow in halacha, the Levush or the Taz?

The halacha follows the opinion of the Mechaber and the Levush, for the Mishnah Berurah cited the Taz only as “some are stringent.”
[There, it is made to be opened and closed on a regular basis. That is a stronger basis for leniency than a craftsman’s knot, which is made to remain in place for a certain period.]
