Slander Published in the News
Question
When there is a topic where someone is accused of doing something illegal, and it is discussed in the news, and their name is published. Is it permissible to talk about it with a friend, or is there an issue of slander?
2: And if there is an issue, what if one does not intend to talk about him but merely mentions his name while discussing what 'was done to him or why it was done to him, and so on.

Hello,
There is no prohibition of slander in this case, but it is advisable to avoid discussing it.
Because a person gets accustomed to bad behavior and seeks out evil in people.
