Use of Tithe Money

My children are 10 years old. Is it permissible to deposit tithe money into an investment pension fund with the purpose of their marriage?

Answer

Shalom Rav,

It is forbidden to invest these funds.

However, it is permissible to deposit in a Gemach and withdraw from there when the children marry.
