Investments from Maaser Funds for Child's Wedding

Hello,
There is a ruling by rabbis that it is permissible to allocate from maaser funds for the central gemach for children's weddings. I want to save for the children in an investment path called S&P500. Can I also allocate from maaser funds?

maaser funds should not be used for investments, even if intended for children's weddings
