Claim for damages during travel

Question

Is it permitted to file a small claim against Egged for a bus that did not arrive, if this caused me and my children financial loss and distress? We went on a trip during bein hazmanim, and the trip involved three buses. The first two buses arrived, but the third bus did not arrive, and we waited a long time. (On Kal Kav they said it would arrive in another half hour, and afterward the time kept going down, and then suddenly jumped to another hour, while we were at the stop the whole time and were sure that it had not passed.) In the end we were forced to return home, because if we had waited for the next bus, we would not have made it in time for the boat ride.

Answer

Shalom u’vrachah

It is permitted to sue them.
