Using Glass Utensils in a Non-Kosher Place

Question

I am staying at a non-Jewish hotel, and there are glass utensils. Is it permissible to prepare couscous there?

Answer

For Ashkenazim, it is permissible to use utensils only for cold items, but for hot items, even if it's not a primary vessel, it is forbidden. For Sephardim, there is no prohibition on glass utensils.
