Converting a Meat Microwave to Dairy

Question

A yeshiva student has a meat microwave and wants to convert it to dairy.

Answer

Not recommended, for two reasons: firstly, one should not switch from meat to dairy unless in a pressing situation, and also it is unclear if steaming is effective.
