Motza'ei Yom Kippur — Rabbeinu Tam Time

Question

Does a pregnant woman on Yom Kippur need to wait until Rabbeinu Tam time before breaking her fast?

Answer

Shalom u'vrachah

If you follow the opinion of Rabbeinu Tam as the primary halachah [that is, this is the halachic practice accepted in your community], she must wait even during pregnancy.

If she does so as a stringency and out of concern, she does not need to wait on Motza'ei Yom Kippur.
