Tefillin bag
Question
Hello Rabbi,
I have a small tefillin bag with my name embroidered on it but I don't use it anymore. I wanted to ask if it's permissible to use it for a different purpose (like for example carrying a siddur or tehillim in it)? Thank you

Thank you for your question.
If you have been using your tefillin case for a Siddur/Tehillim etc. since you first got it, then you may continue to do so. If you did not use it for such uses, and you only used it exclusively to hold your tefillin, then do not begin doing so.
