Forgot to Turn Off the Mobile Before Prayer

What is the ruling if one forgot to turn off the mobile phone before prayer?

Answer

Standing in the middle of the Amidah prayer and realizing that he did not turn off the phone, since it distracts him from his prayer due to the concern that it might ring, he is permitted to turn it off in the middle of the prayer.
