Reciting Tehillim in the Middle of Nursing
Question
A woman who nurses for a long time and, while doing so, wants to recite Tehillim/pray
May she recite Tehillim even though she is touching covered parts of the body while doing so?
May she recite Tehillim even though she is touching covered parts of the body while doing so?
Answer
Shalom u'vrachah
It is forbidden to say words of Torah after you have touched covered parts of the body.
One may rub the hands on a garment after touching the body, and then recite sacred words.
