Reporting Sick Days
Question
Hello! According to the law, an employee who is absent due to illness is entitled to sick pay for the second and third day at a rate of 50%. What would be the rule if on the third day the employee could not work half a day, can he, according to Halacha, issue a sick certificate for the third day and thus receive 50% payment - half a day?

It is forbidden to do so, this is outright theft.
