Who Decides How Things Are Arranged in a Yeshiva Dorm Room
Question
Shalom.
Three students share a room in a yeshiva. Two of them want to change the arrangement of the beds and closets, and the third does not. Can he prevent them from doing so? Does it depend on the order in which they arrived in the room on the first day?
Answer
Shalom u’vracha.
If there is no accepted custom and procedure in the yeshiva, the majority rules.
