Time of Ending Prayer on Rosh Hashanah

Question

Is it permissible to extend prayers on Rosh Hashanah beyond midday?

Answer

Although on all other holidays it is not customary to extend prayers beyond close to midday, so that the worshippers can eat before midday, on Rosh Hashanah it is permissible to extend prayers even beyond midday.
