Hanging a Swing on Shabbat

What is the ruling on hanging a swing on Shabbat?

Answer

A swing that is hung on hooks, if it is commonly disassembled and reassembled frequently [for example, a swing hung on a door frame where the assembly is only temporary], it is permitted to hang it on Shabbat. If it is for a long period, it is prohibited.
