Hanging a Curtain on Shabbat

Question

Is it permissible to hang a curtain on Shabbat?

Answer

It is permissible to hang a curtain on hooks, and according to the Chazon Ish, if it is hung for a long time, it is prohibited. In the case where the curtain is hung for a short time, it is permitted according to all opinions.
