Hat Crushed on Shabbat
Question
Shabbat - accidentally sat on the hat and it got crushed. Is it permissible to restore it to its original state, or is it considered repairing an item? What are the guidelines on this matter? Thank you very much.

If the hat is hard, it is permissible to straighten it with a change.
If it is soft, it is permissible to straighten it in the usual manner.
