Speaking to a Non-Jew's Phone on Shabbat for Translation
Question
When asking for help from a Chinese non-Jew on Shabbat [for carrying in a public domain], and he activates a translator and wants me to speak into the device so he can understand me. What is the halacha?

It is forbidden to speak into the translation device.
Electrical processes and word writing occur in the device.
