Mezuzah in a Rented Apartment

Question

I bought an apartment as an investment, which does not have mezuzahs. The apartment is rented to a woman who does not observe mitzvot and has no interest in it. Am I obligated to put up mezuzahs there because I am causing her to live in a place without a mezuzah?

You are not obligated to put up mezuzahs. The obligation of mezuzah is 'the obligation of the resident,' meaning it is the responsibility of the one living in the house, not the owner. Therefore, the resident there should take care of the mezuzah for herself, and you are not obligated in this matter.
