The “Red Cross” Symbol on Clothing

Question

My wife bought underwear for the children through an internet site. When they arrived, it turned out that on the fabric there is a picture of a Red Cross ambulance, with a red cross symbol on it (a religious/organizational symbol). Must the garments be thrown away?

Answer

Shalom u’vrachah

There is no problem with this at all.

The symbol there is not associated with idolatry, but is merely a symbol of affiliation.
