End Time of Shiva
Question
My mother passed away early Sunday morning and was buried on Sunday at 2:30 PM. My question is, when does the Shiva end and when do we visit the grave?

The days of Shiva begin from the day of the burial, therefore the Shiva ends on Saturday morning.
On Shabbat, public mourning practices are not observed, so these customs are observed only until the onset of Shabbat. However, private mourning practices are observed on Shabbat and should continue until Saturday morning.
The visit to the grave is postponed to Sunday, as one does not visit the grave on Shabbat.
