The Law of Onen in Torah Study
Question
If someone has a close relative pass away on Shabbat or Yom Tov, and they do not have the status of onen until after Shabbat or the holiday, can they study Torah?

It is forbidden to study Torah except for the laws pertaining to mourning, as is the case with a mourner.
