Sale of Defective Product
Question
Sold disposable cigarettes in a yeshiva labeled as 2000 puffs, but later it was found that the product is defective and each has only 1000 puffs, and he cannot return the difference because he doesn't know to whom he sold them at any time?
Answer
He should use them for communal needs, such as purchasing siddurim or chumashim for the yeshiva, air conditioners, etc.
