Seclusion with a Maternal Sister

Question

Is it permissible for me to be secluded with my maternal sister, but not paternal?

Answer

Shalom Rav,

It is permitted.

In the Talmud, Kiddushin 81a, it is explained that seclusion with a sister is permitted if it is not on a regular basis, and no distinction is made between types of sisters.
