Chatzitzah — Orthodontic Brackets

Shalom, honorable Rabbi.
My wife had orthodontic treatment using a new method with Dr. Korniel.
Transparent brackets were bonded to her teeth, which remain fixed for at least 80 days, and over them there is a transparent aligner that can be removed.
The question is whether the bonded brackets constitute a chatzitzah for immersion in the mikveh.
