A Teacher in a Mixed Class

 We live in Elad, and my wife has been a professional English teacher for four years at a religious Zionist Mamlachti Dati school in Sha’arei Tikva. Until now she taught fourth-grade classes that were separate—boys’ classes and girls’ classes—and she taught both the boys and the girls. Recently, there was a period when we thought we would move to our apartment in Achisamach, but the project is delayed and for the meantime we are remaining in Elad. When we spoke about this with the school administration, they told her that since it is already late, they have more or less already arranged the schedules, and it appears that she will need to teach fifth-grade classes, boys and girls.
 The question is whether there is a problem or prohibition in this, and whether she needs to insist that she cannot do it because this is already a more mature age, or not.
