Peeling Fruits of the Shemitah Year

Q. Is it permitted to peel tomatoes during the Shemitah year?

Answer

A. It is forbidden to peel fruits and vegetables that are not normally peeled, since by peeling them one causes the peel to be lost and it becomes waste.
