Meat Pita in a Dairy Toaster

Question

What is the halachah regarding a dairy toaster that had not been used within the past 24 hours, into which a pita with meat sausage (a meat food) was mistakenly inserted? Also, is it permitted to put bread with an omelet (a pareve food) that was fried in a dairy pan that had not been used within the past 24 hours into a meat toaster that had not been used within the past 24 hours?

Answer

Hello and blessings

If the pita was not wrapped in paper or the like, the toaster becomes forbidden for use, and there is no way to kasher it, since it is coated with Teflon.

If the pan was clean, it is permitted to heat it in a meat toaster.
