Treif?
Question
Someone in my house cooked a meatloaf in the same oven with garlic bread with butter instead of margarine. 350 degrees. Both uncovered. For about 2 minutes.
Answer
Shalom!
Thank you for your question.
We have to assume that there was some steam and, by extension, transfer of taste.
As such, both foods are forbidden and the oven must be koshered.
However, if the two minutes that they were together in the oven, they did not yet get hot, for example, when you took them out, you see they did not get hot, then it would be permitted to eat.
