Uncovered Wine in a Cabinet
Question
Answer
Hello and blessings
I assume the issue is regarding uncovered beverages:
The Shulchan Aruch ruled that in our times there is no prohibition of uncovered beverages. However, several later authorities were stringent even in our times.
Nevertheless, using it for Kiddush is prohibited even in our times if it has lost its taste, since this is not respectful to the mitzvah.

Shulchan Aruch (Orach Chaim, siman 272, se’if 1)
One may not recite Kiddush over wine that has a bad smell, even though its smell and taste are those of wine, nor over uncovered wine, even nowadays when we are not particular about gilui.
Mishnah Berurah, siman 272, se’if katan 3
When we are not particular about gilui — because snakes are not common among us; nevertheless, it is forbidden because of “הַקְרִיבֵהוּ נָא לְפֶחָתֶךָ” — “Offer it now to your governor” [Malachi 1:8].
