Yom Kippur Fast — Asthma Attack

I suffer from chronic asthma and am currently experiencing an active attack, with shortness of breath and general weakness. On a doctor’s instructions I began taking Augmentin 850 twice a day, Aznil two pills once a day, and Prednisone 20 mg once a day. What is my halachic status regarding the Yom Kippur fast and taking the medications?

Shalom u’verachah 

You should drink in measured amounts (“shiurim”). 

That is, 40 cc of liquid every 9 minutes. 

It is preferable to drink nourishing beverages, such as grape juice, soup broth, and the like, which will also provide nutrition and energy in addition to fluids. 

The antibiotics should certainly be taken as usual. They should be swallowed with the liquids at the time of drinking the measured amounts, as stated above.
