Yom Kippur Fast - Asthma Attack

I suffer from chronic asthma and am currently experiencing an active attack, with shortness of breath and general weakness. On a doctor’s instruction, I began taking Augmentin 850 twice a day, Azenil two pills once a day, and Prednisone 20 mg once a day. What is my halachic status regarding fasting on Yom Kippur and taking the medications?

You should drink in “shiurim” — measured amounts below the halachic threshold. 

That is, 40 cc of liquid every 9 minutes. 

It is preferable to drink nourishing beverages, such as grape juice, soup broth, and the like, which will also provide nourishment and energy in addition to fluids. 

The antibiotics should certainly be taken as usual, and swallowed with the liquids at the time of drinking the shiurim, as above.
