Eating Almonds for an Ill Person on Yom Kippur

Question

I need to eat in measured quantities on Yom Kippur. Am I permitted to eat almonds, or should they be avoided as on Rosh Hashanah?

Answer

Shalom u’vrachah

We have not found any restrictions on what to eat on Yom Kippur—for someone who is permitted to eat.
