Cooking Food for Shabbat on Tisha B’Av

Question

Is it permitted to prepare food for Shabbat after midday on Tisha B’Av?
This year, when Tisha B’Av falls on Thursday?

Answer

Shalom u’vracha

If it is known that on Friday there will be limited time to cook, it is permitted to cook after midday on Tisha B’Av for the needs of Shabbat.
