Eating Meat on the 10th of Av

Question

Is it permitted to eat meat on Friday, the 10th of Av?

Answer

Shalom u’vracha

This year as well, it is prohibited, since there is no need for it for Shabbat.

According to the Ashkenazic custom, the prohibition applies until midday. According to the Sephardic custom, it applies until evening.
