Washing a garment that may be damaged on Tisha B'Av

Is it permissible to wash a garment on Tisha B'Av that may be damaged if not washed?
Answer
If delaying the washing until after Tisha B'Av may cause damage to the garment, it is permitted (though it is not common for one day to make such a significant difference).
