Beverage Mixed with Grape Juice

Question

Is it permissible to drink a soft drink containing 3% grape juice during the Nine Days? And is it permissible to add water to nullify it in sixty?

Answer

Shalom Rav,

If the grapes impart flavor, it should not be consumed.

There is no issue in nullifying the juice with water, as it is not a prohibited beverage; the issue is only enjoying the taste of wine.
