Birthday - The Nine Days

Question

Regarding a birthday only with the family on the 7th of Av, is it preferable to celebrate on Saturday night so it would already be a Melave Malka meal, or is there no difference if celebrated on Sunday?

According to the law, there is no difference, but it may be preferable for it to also be a Seudat Mitzvah.
