The Nine Days = Returning a Product
Question
Is it permissible to exchange a product I bought before the Nine Days during the Nine Days, noting that afterward it cannot be exchanged?
Answer
Shalom and blessings
It is permissible to exchange.
Any purchase that would result in a loss if not made now is permitted during the Nine Days. However, this is not a purchase but a return, and it is permitted in any case.
