Transferring Photos on Chol Hamoed

Question

Is it permissible to transfer photos on a computer during Chol Hamoed?

Answer

It is permissible if it is needed for the festival. This is different from taking photos, which is prohibited, as taking photos does not provide immediate benefit, only later when the photos are viewed.
