Omission of Ya'aleh Veyavo Prayer

Hello Rabbi, if a person did not say Ya'aleh Veyavo, but said 'Blessed are You, Hashem, who returns His Shechinah to Zion' and began 'Modim Anachnu Lach', what is his status? (Shacharit and Mincha)

Hello Rabbi and joyous festivals
In all prayers [Shacharit, Mincha, Maariv], one returns to the beginning of the blessing 'Retze'.
