Forgot to say 'Al HaNissim' and did not finish the blessing

Hello, During Hanukkah, if a person did not say 'Al HaNissim' in the Amidah during Mincha and is in the middle of concluding the blessing 'Hatov Shimcha Ulecha Na'eh Lehodot' — meaning he only said Baruch Ata, how should he continue?

Answer

Hello and Happy Hanukkah

Since he has not yet said the Name of God, he should go back and say 'Al HaNissim', and then continue from there as usual.
