Eating Almonds and Peanuts on Rosh Hashanah

Question

For those who refrain from eating nuts on Rosh Hashanah and the Ten Days of Repentance, what is the ruling regarding almonds and peanuts?

Shalom Rav,

Peanuts are called 'ground nuts'. However, almonds are not considered nuts. Yet, some are stringent with almonds.
