Eating Coconut — Rosh Hashanah

Question

Is it permissible to eat coconut on Rosh Hashanah? And what is the ruling regarding a cake that contains coconut, or chocolate balls coated with coconut?

Answer

Shalom u'vrachah 

A whole nut — is forbidden. 

When the coconut is in a mixture —  it is permitted.
