Fast on the Eve of Rosh Chodesh Iyar

Question

I scheduled a fast for today, the eve of Rosh Chodesh [I said the text before "Yehi Ratzon" at Mincha yesterday], and today I realize that fasting is not observed in the month of Nisan. Should I continue the fast today?

Hello Rabbi 

This was an acceptance made in error, and you should not fast.
